The Panhellenic Association is the governing organization of the 11 Panhellenic sorority chapters at Cornell. The goal of Panhellenic is to develop and maintain fraternity life and interfraternal relations. This is accomplished through all-sorority programming efforts, promotion of superior scholarship, leadership development, and dissemination of information important to women in general. The Panhellenic Council is also the coordinating body for formal recruitment and continuous open bidding.
